Our Wedding! : On October 14, 2006 I married the man I love--nearly 14 years after I met him.  He keeps telling me "I told you so," but I'm overjoyed to call myself a Shakespeare now.  This was a joyful week!  The photos from our Cardiff, Wales reception at the Angel Hotel start on page 5.

Dallas and saying goodby to Grandma : We had to say goodbye (for now) to our dear Grandmother in October 2005.  Going to Dallas for her funeral was a strange mix of sadness and joy at being together again.  I guess that's part of the complexity of love of family.

Saying Goodbye to Ed : In January 2007, my stepdad, Ed, finished his long battle with esophogeal cancer.  I went home to Missouri for his memorial and to be with my family.  It was also our last visit to Missouri as my mom moved away from Lebanon shortly after that.  While we were there the Midwest was hit by one of the worst ice storms they had ever had.  Power, gas, water, and phones were knocked out for two weeks.  As we bunkered down in mom's house and tried to stay warm.  We laughed that Ed must have got a real laugh out of the massive drama that came during his memorial service week.
