Okay, so in all fairness, I already owned a couple of the books because of my work, but I just had to go out and get the "Expecting." Hopefully it will be a good one. I really wasn't the most productive person ever at work today--somewhat distracted for some reason. Couldn't imagine why . . .

From the serious to the frivolous. Pulling a Mary Poppins with my fun new shoes. The saleslady looked shocked when I told her they were like something my grandmother might wear. I had to quickly explain that I considered that a compliment as my grandmother had impeccable taste.

We dog-sat my brother-in-law's greyhound, Zion, this week. We love having him, but he does seem to take up all of the spare space in our flat.

Okay, so here's today's confession: this was a bit of a cheat. I was exhausted and not feeling well with my pregnancy today. It wasn't until the end of the day I realized I hadn't taken a photo. Here's some bluebells from a couple weeks ago though (one of the 365 photos Andrew and I took that I didn't use).

I scored major bonus points recently with my husband when I brought him home a set of Gilbert and Sullivan records from the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company that his mother had while he was growing up. Not much will make Andrew gleeful like a rousing chorus from Gilbert and Sullivan.

I just couldn't resist. I bought these little baby pyjamas for Andrew along with a book "The Blokes' 100 Tips for Surviving Pregnancy," and a card saying "World's Best Daddy" in order to celebrate this new stage in our life together.
