Lest we forget . . .
On 11 November 2007, Armistice Day, Andrew and I were asked to lay a wreath representing the church at the national Remembrance Day ceremonies. It was a solemn and lovely occasion. I'm very glad we participated. I also realized that this was the first time I had sung the Welsh national anthem in Welsh and God Save the Queen. I hadn't had too much practice with those as an American woman, but I was proud to join in with those in my newly adopted country.
